We really enjoy the experience of having a tasty beverage at Lupulo. This trip was our third visit and I have to report that thanks to bartender Kayla, they really exceeded our expectations and hit the ball out of the park! Kayla is friendly, accommodating and does a fantastic job of making new faces feel like old friends. She is a wealth of knowledge regarding the massive selection of brews and will take the time to help you make the best decision for your palate. The selection is stellar, the interior is open (including outdoor seating) and well appointed with fun art and decor. We are looking forward to returning soon, checking out more libations and sampling the tempting cuisine. Lupulo is a welcome addition to downtown Santa Cruz and staff like Kayla make us excited to become frequent visitors to this very unique and special spot.

The beer selection is just amazing. Good to see there are still places with a variety of styles on tap and not just a bunch of IPAs. Food is pretty good but not amazing. Beer selection to-go is also great and prices are probably the best I've seen in NorCal. Lupulo is a must every time I visit Santa Cruz.

Tasty place to get tacos and beer! Lupulo has the best tacos in town, they are super flavorful and served with fresh pickled veggies and a lime wedg. The tacos pair perfectly with one of their many rotating beer and cider selections. They offer indoor and outdoor seating that is shaded.

The food is great, and the beer selections change often enough to stay relevant to the customer. I like the atmosphere as well. It is good for young and old that enjoy beer and small plates to share. Two reasons I'm giving it a 4. 1 - I am always looking for a place where my beer/bartenders are happy when they see a customer because they get to interact. Instead it was mostly the look of "oh no, another customer - Fake smile time" Now don't get me wrong, they were all very friendly, but not genuine enough for me. 2 - They charge 3.50 for 1 taster that you would usually find for free at most breweries. There is a little bit more than a normal taster, so I actually don't mind them charging for it - I just feel like 3.50 is a little much. If they were something around $2 or even $2.50 I would probably try at least 3 or 4 and then still buy a full size beer based on the one I liked the most. I believe $3.50 is too high for a taster. I will still go back, and do recommend others try it as well!

A modern brewery with tasty brews, sandwiches, tapas, tortas and tacos. I ordered the Carnitas torta and while it didn't contain avocado (every torta should have avocado) it was delicious. I also ordered a Non-alcoholic beer which was altogether pretty smooth. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and had a good energy. I would recommend this spot to beach-goers and anyone looking for a nice variety of IPA's, Stouts and Sours as their menu was very extensive. This would be my second visit, I once showed up with my sister a few years ago and it's only gotten better. Cheers!

Great selection of beers, atmosphere, and food. It's pretty relaxing inside and they have a lot of tapas kinds of things to eat while you chill out. The balsamic reduction avocado toast was especially excellent.

A great beer and tapas experience. The empanadas were delicious and the beer was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful, highly recommended this location if you are looking for some good eats in downtown Santa Cruz. Avocado toast was great and so was the cheese platter. Also recommend the pickled items they do those great.

Awesome rotating beer selection and some wine , with a wide variety of canned/bottled beers in the fridge. Food is on point and service is great. Good chill spot to grab a beer in downtown Santa Cruz .
